Love Is Life: A Course In Love

"Love is life. And if you miss love, you miss life." ~ Leo Buscaglia

It is odd being in Las Vegas.

It is odd being back in a hospital with another loved one.

Grateful my daughter and niece sat with me all day.

Mom's surgery went well. I was concerned because of the cancer, because of her frailty and for how quickly her health deteriorated.

Cancer isn't kind; neither is diabetes which took my husband, the rare blood disease with took my dad, or the 18 wheeler which took my legs.

Still, each day is a new opportunity to live all the while bringing us one day closer to death.

It is odd, life, beautifully odd.

I believe the existence of our life is love.

Where have you taken love this week? Where have you taken life this week?

Don't let the divinity of life or divine love pass you by.

What can you do this coming week to assist life and love don't pass you by?

"Love is life. And if you miss love, you miss life."

This month has been more than a struggle to get love to the top of my thought process. To filter my viewpoints through the love lens. But by the 17th all of the hurtful disruptions of the prior weeks fell to the wayside when my little sister began having more serious health concerns. She is 38 pregnant with high blood pressure and all of the issues that follow. At that point, in the hospital looking in everyone's eyes I saw love. Her dear husband with the deepest concern and love for her and their unborn baby that you could feel it and see it like some sort of a connecting object between the two of them, really no words. When the Dr. took the baby and she was healthy and perfect and my sister started recovering the gratitude and relief in everyone joined the total love that filled everyone. At that time I was boosted up and strongly reminded not to let love pass by my daily existence. I want to keep the warmth and peace and calm happiness on the surface of my thoughts and actions.
This was such a beautiful reminder that life is love. Seeing that beautiful new life come into the room the only thing to possibly feel was love.
